Granite Creek Hunger Pot-Luck  11:00 AM every Saturdayfeeding the hungry

                  How it Works

We have wonderful volunteer cooks who use food donations to make delicious, healthy casseroles, soups, and salads, for our “taste of home” picnic.  They bring the freshly cooked food to the serving tables near Granite Creek every Saturday.

Hungry people arrive at at the park facing the west end of Sheldon Street. all morning.  Serving begins at 11:00 by our volunteers.  While waiting, people are greeted so all feel welcome.  In the summer, we feed about 180 folks each week.  During winter months, we move to the Summit Ave. side of Prescott United Methodist Church.

Volunteers

We are always seeking volunteer cooks, whom we give major ingredients from our food lockers.

Every Saturday we need servers, we are always happy to see new faces.  Try to arrive between 10:30 and 10:45 am.  Also needed are setup, breakdown, and cleanup helpers.  Call Eddie at 541-9464 for more info.   We need drivers to pickup / deliver donated food / supplies.
